The Damper barrier is specifically designed for vehicle entries where foundation work is not possible due to construction or excavation limitations, therefore preventing the installation of a buried barrier.
The barrier will stop vehicles weighing 1200 kg travelling at 30 kph.
The Dumper barrier design is simple and effective with light weight units mounted on top of a flat concrete surface; totally blocking the road with the push of a button.
There is minimum foundation and installation work to be performed.
The system is operated pneumatically to give long lasting, trouble free operation.
The damper barrier is 90cm long and is installed across the width of the lane. The barriers are connected to each other in a row. They have a rising time of 3 seconds across the entire laneway.
