The Road Blocker is an anti-terror vehicle barrier, designed and manufactured by
ELGOTEAM. The barrier incorporates advanced design and is engineered to meet strict international standards against today's threats.
The Road Blocker is a heavy-duty, fast operating and cost-effective solution to any application where a heavy road block is needed. In particular, the Road Blocker is suitable for locations where foundation depth must be kept to a minimum. The barrier only requires a 50cm deep foundation. The Road Blocker not only provides an effective barrier against vehicles but against motorcycles as well.
There are several versions of the Road Blocker, including K4, K8 and K12 rated versions.
The barriers have a rising time of as little as 4 seconds and have an all weather capability.
The Road Blockers have a simple, fast installation process, are aesthetically designed and disappear underground when lowered. The barrier allows full and immediate protection of the entire lane width (with a maximum length of 4 m). They are custom painted and finished.
